Cortes Conquers the Aztecs

Here's the first part of a six-part episode on the Conqest of the Aztec Empire. We watched about 3 minutes of it in class. I can't vouch for it's total historical accuracy, but it makes good entertainment! :)

The Jewish Revolt of 66-70 CE!

More movie! This is the story of Josephus and Titus before and during the war of 66-70 AD.
Once again, it's in 8 parts or so. I know it has subtitles, but after awhile you don't notice them anymore. Still, I think it's pretty good.

The Life of Tiberius Gracchus

This is a dramatization of the life of Tiberius Gracchus. It's from a BBC miniseries, Ancient Rome: Rise and Fall of an Empire. In this segment, we meet Tiberius as he participates in the final reduction of the city of Carthage. There are a total of 8 parts to this episode (it is almost exactly 60 minutes long).
